Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect through christiedowns.com.au, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Curated Property Group operates this site. Contact: Hello@Curatedpropertygroup.com.au.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, the state you live in, whether you are buying as an investor or to live in, and your timeframe.
- If you download a document: your name, mobile, email and address, and whether you agree to be contacted by email, SMS and phone call.
- If you reserve a home (Buy now): your full name or names as on your ID, email, mobile, postal address, how you are buying (individual, joint, company, trust or SMSF), whether you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, how you plan to pay, your deposit and settlement preferences, and the name and email of your conveyancer or lawyer. Reserving is free and does not bind you.
- How you used the site: which pages you viewed, how far you scrolled, which documents you opened and how far through them you read.
- Where you came from: campaign tags in the link you clicked, and your IP address and browser details.
We are explicit about document reading because it is unusual. If you open the draft contract and read eight pages, we can see that, and we use it to decide who to call first.
Why we collect it
- To send you the buyers guide and the documents you asked for.
- To record and follow up your reservation request, and to keep the order requests arrived in.
- To prepare the contracts and the Form 1 for you, and to share them with your conveyancer or lawyer if you give us their details.
- To contact you about this project and other Curated Property Group projects.
- To understand which advertising works, so we spend less on advertising that does not.
Who we share it with
We use third parties to run the site. They only receive what they need:
- HubSpot — our customer records.
- Resend — sends the emails.
- Twilio — sends and receives the SMS.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores a backup copy of your enquiry.
- Meta — advertising measurement. Where we send Meta a record of a conversion, your email address is hashed first, so Meta does not receive it in readable form.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.
Marketing contact and opting out
We only send marketing SMS and email where you have ticked the consent box. You can opt out at any time:
- SMS: reply STOP to any message. This is automatic and immediate.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link, or email us.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 12 months in our backup store, and in our customer records for as long as we have a business reason to hold them. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required by law to keep it.
Access, correction and complaints
Email Hello@Curatedpropertygroup.com.au to see what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you are not happy with how we handle a privacy issue, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Storage in your browser
We store the campaign tags from the link you clicked in your browser for the length of your visit, so that the enquiry form can tell us which advertisement brought you here. It is cleared when you close the tab.
